Kiara Destiny Okonkwo (she/her) is a writer, editor, and project manager whose work moves across creative, cultural, and community spaces. She lives and learns as a racialized settler on the unceded contemporary territories of the Stó:lō, Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil‑Waututh Nations.
Kiara previously served as a print editor for SAD Magazine and has published creative work in small community zines. Her writing is grounded in storytelling as a practice of care, documentation, and cultural memory, often engaging questions of identity, belonging, and community.
She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts, where she continues to develop her practice at the intersection of writing, editing, research, and collaborative cultural work.
